Toxics Action Center
Since 1987, Toxics Action Center has helped more than 400 neighborhood groups across New England
fight toxic pollution in their communities. We work on a variety of
issues including cleaning up hazardous waste sites, stopping proposed
landfills and incinerators, stopping the spraying of pesticides,
pressuring companies to reduce their toxic chemical use, and other
issues that threaten the health and safety of residents, neighborhoods
and the environment.

The Fund for Public Interest Research (FFPIR)
The Fund for Public Interest Research is a national nonprofit
organization working to increase the visibility, membership and
political power of the nation's leading environmental and progressive
groups. The Fund for Public Interest Research is best known for its
canvass programs. Over the years The Fund has developed the nation's
largest and most effective network for door-to-door and street
canvassing—signing up members in high traffic, public places. The
Fund signs up sustainers—members who commit to automatic monthly
contributions from a checking account or credit card—as well as
one-time contributors. The Fund for Public Interest Research works with
MASSPIRG in Boston and other cities throughout Massachusetts.
The National Environmental Law Center
The National Environmental Law Center (NELC) is a non-profit litigation center dedicated to enforcing anti-pollution laws and promoting long-term solutions to the nation's most pressing environmental problems. NELC scientists, lawyers and policy experts have a proven track record of bringing corporate polluters to justice and translating innovative ideas into practical reforms. NELC works closely with state and local citizen groups, providing essential legal and scientific expertise.
