Tell the Insurance Commissioner to put back our consumer protections
What do student loans have to do with your car
insurance?
Absolutely nothing -- however the new Insurance Commissioner
has proposed new rules allowing insurance companies to use discriminatory
factors in selling auto insurance.
Auto insurance should be based on your
driving record not
whether you have a mortgage, student loans or homeowners’
insurance. Insurance companies should not be allowed to use a hodgepodge of
unrelated and discriminatory factors as an excuse to deny us coverage or
overcharge us.
Email the Insurance Commissioner and ask her to put back our
consumer protections. Follow these 3 easy steps to help out.
