Public Interest Votes

In the waning days of the legislative session, special interest lobbyists will pull out all the stops to promote their agenda. They'll fight some of our top priority public interest bills tooth-and-nail, and they'll push lawmakers to pass bills that only benefit a powerful few.

With the clock winding down, the action happens quickly—sometimes you won't hear about the worst-of-the-worst until it's too late. That's why it's important you're lawmakers hear from you now.

Please send your representative and senator this message. Tell them to vote consistently in the public interest, specifically on these bills:

Vote FOR: Banning gifts from pharmaceutical companies to doctors (S.2660, section 26)

Vote FOR: Phasing out toxic cleaning supplies in schools (H. 2246)

Vote FOR: Expanding public transportation (H. 4825)

Vote FOR: Increasing voter access (S.2514)

Vote AGAINST: Rolling back price disclosure law (H. 4858)
