Lawsuit filed in Charlton, MA against Casella Waste

In the Commonwealth of MA, we should be on a path to zero waste, per the Department of Environmental Protection's Solid Waste Master Plan. But in the tri-town area of Southbridge/Charlton/Sturbridge in central MA, there's a leaking landfill---which Casella wants to expand---that has polluted precious drinking water and contaminated natural resources, per the lawsuit filed today by the National Environmental Law Center (NELC).
