Second recall of King Bio’s homeopathic drugs in the past month

King Bio Inc. issued the second significant voluntary recall since late July of their homeopathic drugs on Wednesday. Safety concerns over homeopathic drugs extend beyond King Bio as over the past several years, the FDA has issued recalls to several companies for a variety of health products from zinc-containing intranasal medicine to asthma drugs with toxic ingredients.

MA Legislature Passes Important Consumer Protection Bill

The Massachusetts Legislature, with bipartisan, unanimous votes of 151-0 in the House and 38-0 in the Senate, passed a key identity theft protection bill  An Act Relative to Consumer Protection from Security Breaches, HB 4806 which, if signed into law, will enable consumers to safeguard their personal financial information by allowing them to “freeze” and “thaw” their credit files for free, among other protections.

MA Senate Passes Important Consumer Protection Bill
